A total of eight teams will be competing in this tournament, four direct invites on the basis of their ESL World Rankings and four others making their way through the various regional qualifiers.

• The eight competing teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each.

• Both these groups will be featuring a double-elimination bracket where the opening and winners matches are a single-game affair, but elimination and decider matches are best-of-three series.

• The top two teams from each group will move on to the playoffs stage.

Playoffs

• The playoffs stage of this tournament will feature four teams that qualified through the group stage.

• It will be following a single elimination format where every match will be a best-of-three series.

• The winner of this tournament will receive a lion’s share of the prize pool along with a direct slot in the EPL Conference S17.

Prize Pool

The $100,000 USD prize pool will be divided between all the eight participating teams, based on their overall placement in the tournament.
