Shrine of Depths in Fontaine

Fontaine’s Shrines of Depths are special compared to those in other regions because they can be found not only on land but also hidden beneath the waves. These shrines house precious chests and valuable loot, making them a must-visit for any Genshin Impact traveler. To open these shrines, you’ll need Fontaine Shrine of Depths Keys.

Fontaine Shrine of Depths Locations

As of Version 4.1, there are six Fontaine Shrine of Depths locations to discover. Here is a breakdown of each location:

1. Elton Trench (Underwater): Dive into the waters just south of the nearby Teleport Waypoint between the Beryl and Belleau regions to find this underwater shrine.

2. Elynas (Top of a Hill): Glide down from the Teleport Waypoint in the northeast of the Elynas region to reach this shrine located near the top of a hill.

3. Court of Fontaine: Teleport to the Echoes of the Deep Tides Domain, then head southeast to find this shrine in an orchard just north of the Court of Fontaine.

4. Marcotte Station: You can reach this shrine, situated on a grassy slope overlooking the sea to the west, either from the Teleport Waypoint at Marcotte Station or by swimming from an underwater Teleport.

5. Central Laboratory Ruins (Underwater): Teleport to the nearby Statue of Seven and glide down to find this underwater shrine just southwest of the Central Laboratory Ruins.

6. New Fontaine Research Institute: This shrine is located high up in the mountains. You can reach it by gliding from the Teleport Waypoint above the floating Hydro cubes or by using another nearby Teleport and making your way up the mountain.

Obtaining Fontaine Shrine of Depths Keys

To unlock these Fontaine Shrine of Depths, you’ll need Fontaine Shrine of Depths Keys. These keys can be obtained through two methods:

1. Statues of Seven Rewards: Progress through the game and offer Hydroculus to Fontaine’s Statues of Seven. As you raise the level of these statues, you’ll receive keys as rewards. Hydroculus can be found throughout the Fontaine region, including underwater.

2. Fountain of Lucine: This special fountain, located outside the Opera Epiclese in Fontaine, provides keys in exchange for Hydro Sigils. Hydro Sigils can be obtained by opening chests in Fontaine and offering Hydroculus to Statues of Seven. You’ll receive keys upon reaching specific levels at the Fountain of Lucine, such as Level 8, 18, 28, and 38.
