Alleged GTA 6 Leaks From Rockstar Games Dev’s Son Show Up on TikTok
There’s no doubt that GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games of all time, which means a lot of fake leaks have come and gone, sparking a great deal of speculation among the community, which is patiently waiting for the game’s release.
Players might think that with such little time before the official reveal of Grand Theft Auto 6, nothing could get in the way of it, but now there’s one leaker who has proved everyone wrong by leaking footage of the game and giving us some details about its map.
In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to know about GTA 6 footage and map leaks.
GTA 6 Leaks Go Viral But What Are The Leaks?
While most of the GTA 6 leaks, other than the massive one last year, which showed us 90+ minutes of gameplay, have proven to be fake, a new leak on TikTok that comes out days before the reveal of the first GTA 6 trailer may be real.
You heard that right: alleged gameplay footage of GTA 6 and map details have been leaked out of all platforms on TikTok.
The alleged leaked footage shows a metropolis area of Vice City from an early development build of the game, as the camera is moved around freely and is not attached to any character. We can see a bunch of developer notes at the bottom of the screen.
Sure, it’s not a big reveal, but that doesn’t stop fans from comparing the leaked footage to previous leaks. A number of things line up, with some of the same buildings between the two. The alleged leaks also give us some information about the game’s map, claiming there will be three cities with four sub cities and it will be twice the size of Los Santos.
A slide show was posted that alleges that the son of Aaron Garbut, the head of development at Rockstar North, was involved in sourcing the leaked content. This comes from the TikTok account that posted the leaks, as they claim that they know Garbut’s son, but they aren’t him.
We still don’t have an official word from Rockstar Games on these GTA 6 leaks, but it seems like the developer is in a hurry to take down any leaked footage.
