ATF is No Longer a Part of OG’s Dota 2 Lineup

Day after The International 2022 (TI11) concluded, OG’s offlane player Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf has officially been removed from the active lineup and has been allowed to explore his options. OG announced this move of the Jordanian star through its social media handles.

ATF’s potential options remain unclear but considering his performances through the season, he should have a line of suitors for the next upcoming season. Multiple teams including many in the European region are renewing their lineups after the conclusion of TI11.

The roster shuffle deadline and the full schedule for the Dota 2 Pro Circuit is yet to be announced.

ATF steps down from OG’s active roster

In a post through Twitter, OG revealed that ATF was moving away from the organization’s active lineup. “Our offlaner @AmmarAlassaf6 (ATF) has been moved to our inactive roster & will be able to explore his options this season,” announced the organization.

OG also acknowledged ATF’s development through the year and thanked him for his contributions. It stated, “From a pub star to proving himself as one of the best in the world. We are proud to have been part of his incredible journey!”

ATF joined the OG lineup earlier this season and went on to win over $1.45 Million USD in prize money for the organization through the year. This includes Top 3 finishes in all three Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) Tours in the 2021/22 season and other third party events.

The crowning jewel of his stint with OG came at ESL One Stockholm 2022 where the team decimated its opponents to claim a DPC Major victory.

With ATF’s move to the inactive roster, OG’s lineup currently is:

  • Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev

  • Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov

  • Tommy “Taiga” Le

  • Mikhail “Misha” Agatov

The Dota 2 Pro Circuit 2022/23 season is expected to kick off on 11th December 2022. It will be interesting to see ATF’s replacement in OG as well as his future prospects by then.
