Can You Play Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Steam?

After some RPG-focused releases, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage promises to be more like the original games. Set in Baghdad with the assassin Basim, the title aims to return the franchise roots by focusing on stealth and parkour again.

With the game’s release right around the corner and coming to every major home console, players are left wondering if they can play Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Steam. Let’s look at if the Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming to Steam.

Is Assassin’s Creed Mirage Coming to Steam?

Unfortunately, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not coming to Steam. Aside from the console release, you can only play Assassin’s Creed Mirage through the official Ubisoft store or on the Epic Games Store. This will disappoint players who like to have all their games arranged in one place.

However, this might change, as in the past, we’ve seen that every Assassin’s Creed game eventually makes its way to Steam. While this may look strange, Ubisoft has partnered with the Epic Games Store for a while now. Past games in the Assassin’s Creed series had timed exclusivity with Epic Games. This can also be the case with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and the game could come to Valve’s digital storefront several months later.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage lets players explore the city of Baghdad and make use of parkour to go through the dynamic environments. It doesn’t matter if you’re planning on purchasing the deluxe edition or standard edition., you will have to go through the Ubisoft Store or Epic Games Store.

When Does Assassin’s Creed Mirage Release?

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on 5th October 2023, as confirmed by the game’s official X account that the game has gone to Gold early and will see an early release as a result.

If you want some additional benefits, you can pre-order the game, but there’s only one extra edition for those who want to pre-order: the Deluxe Edition. This will include the base game, outfits, skins, and more.

For more die-hard fans, there’s also an Assassin’s Creed Mirage Collector’s Edition, but as of now, players can’t pre-order it. The game will be playable on PS5, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, Xbox One and PC from day one.
