Horizon Worlds Tests Photo Sharing With Instagram & Facebook

Photos and videos from Horizon Worlds are now directly shareable to Instagram and Facebook.

Released as part of the v108 update, Meta announced that Horizon Worlds users can now directly share photos and videos to Instagram and Facebook Stories. However, you may have not have access just yet. Meta states that because this feature is being tested, it is “only available to about 50% of people,” adding that “we hope to expand to more people throughout the month of May.”

Sharing photos is available through two methods. You can select one or more images/videos from the media gallery, press the share icon, select your platform or choice and click share to send them. Or, you can hit the share icon on your Horizon Camera.

Alongside minor performance fixes, v108 also updates the Safe Zone feature. Upon pausing gameplay by hitting the shield icon, Meta says “you’ll now see more of the details of the world you’re in, including everyone in it, but all activity will appear paused.” While paused, you can now view someone else’s profile, letting you “report, mute, or block someone to address an unwanted situation,” send thanks and access your full menu.
