M4 World Championship Group Draw Date Announced

The group distributions for the upcoming M4 World Championship will be held on 8th December. The group draw will distribute all the qualified teams into their respective groups for the upcoming tournament. The format for the group draw will be the same as the previous iterations with slightly new changes. Instead of three pools, the M4 World Championship will only have two pools for the group draw. Teams from the same region cannot be drawn into the same group. Teams from the first pool also cannot be placed into the same groups. This means teams from the first pool will be equally distributed into the four groups.

M4 World Championship group draw mechanics

The group stage team distributions for the upcoming M4 World Championship will soon be finalized. The draw will be broadcasted live on 8th December at 4:00 PM (GMT +8).

The group draw will have two types of pool. The first pool will contain four Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) champions for the Philippines (PH), Indonesia (ID), Singapore (SG), and Malaysia (MY). The second pool will have the rest of the qualified teams in the tournament.

Teams from the first pool cannot be distributed to the same group. This means, the four teams will be equally seeded into four different groups. Teams from the same region also cannot be placed into the same group.

The group draw will follow a “Snake Seeding” format to determine the placements of each participating team.
