NBA 2K25 Season 1 – Everything You Need to Know About It
Season 1 of NBA 2K25 has been announced, and it will introduce a lot of content, including many rewards. Unique cards, packs, apparel, and badge points, are just some of the rewards players will be able to earn.
The Season Pass is back in NBA 2K25, and just like last year, it has two premium tiers, that allow players to earn many exclusive rewards.
Without further ado, let’s find out everything about the Season 1 of NBA 2K25.
Season 1 Release Date
Season 1 of NBA 2K25 goes live on Wednesday, 4 September, at the same time the early access of NBA 2K25 begins.
Players who pre-ordered any of the NBA 2K25 editions have early access, meaning they can start progressing in the Season 1 reward path earlier than most users.
This will allow players to improve their MyTEAM lineup, and their MyCAREER character, having an advantage over many NBA 2K25 players
Season 1 Rewards
Season 1 of NBA 2K25 will bring content to three modes, MyTEAM, MyCAREER, and The W. All of the modes will receive unique rewards, which players can earn by playing the game, and progressing in the Season 1 reward path.
In MyCAREER, players will be able to earn many cosmetics rewards, such as tropical moto pants, a REC long sleeve, inline skates, a wrestling singlet, and a fireball green release, among many others. Players can then use these rewards to customize their character.
The MyTEAM rewards are quite different, with players being able to earn fantastic cards, many packs, MTP, and VC. There are also some customizable rewards like uniforms and arenas.
When it comes to MyTEAM, most players’ main goal is to reach level 40 and collect the best reward card of Season 1, as well as all the others along the way.
These cards have some astonishing attributes and are great to have at the start of MyTEAM, as they will make players’ lineups significantly stronger. At the same time, these great cards also make it easier to complete challenges and progress in the Season 1 reward path.
Here are all the MyTEAM cards players can earn in the Season 1 reward path:
MyTEAM Season 1 Reward Path Cards |
---|
Ruby Jayson Tatum – Level 1 reward |
Emerald Yao Ming – Level 4 reward |
Emerald Jaylen Brown – Level 10 reward |
Sapphire Mike Miller – Level 16 reward |
Diamond Tony Parker – Level 36 reward |
Pink Diamond Tracy McGrady – Level 40 reward |
As for The W, there are many apparel rewards, such as clothing bundles, a breakthrough sleeve, and a Liberty “Say Her Name” jersey. There are also other rewards like 5K VC, coach cards, and team boosts.
Season 1 Season Pass
As mentioned above, the Season Pass kept the same format in NBA 2K25, with one free tier, and two premium ones, Pro Pass and Hall Of Fame Pass.
The Pro Pass comes with 40 more rewards than the standard Season Pass, some of which players will even earn automatically, such as an Amethyst Vince Carter, and the Handles for Days HoF badge.
However, players need to pay to have access to the Pro Pass, meaning the 40 extra rewards are all behind a paywall.
That’s also the case for the Hall Of Fame Pass, which includes all of the Pro Pass rewards, plus some exclusive ones, including an immediate 10-level skip in the reward path.
It’s still not known if the ability to pay to skip Season Pass levels is also in the game, as it was last year. If it is, then players can collect all the Season 1 rewards in seconds, and without playing a single game, by just paying for it.
