Omega Strikers Best Goalies List

In the list below, you will find five of the best goalkeepers you can choose to play with, ranked from easiest to hardest.

Dubu

Dubu is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in Omega Strikers. What’s more, he does not need to be unlocked, meaning he is available to you from the very beginning of the game. All of Dubu’s skills are aimed at defending the goal:

  • Strike – Knock the Core in a direction with a light melee hit.
  • Energy Meter – When not fully charged, spend Energy to briefly become elusive, avoiding all incoming damage and knockbacks. Casting an ability ends this effect early. Gains additional effects if cast with 100% Energy.
  • Rollout – Wind up roll a decelerating bamboo log that hits and breaks on the first enemy hit.
  • Sommerassault – Roll in a direction. At max range or on impact with an enemy, smash nearby enemies, stunning them
  • Tofu Fortress – Serve up an arc of tofu plates that hit enemies and leave impassable terrain where they end.

Try to stay near the gate so that you can use your ultimate in time if the enemy is close, or use a second skill to stun your opponent if your allies don’t have time to run.

Juno

Juno is the second goalkeeper on our list who does a great job, using most of her skills, you can easily repel enemy attacks. Check out her abilities below to get a better idea of what she can do:

  • Strike with friends – Knock the Core in a direction with a LIGHT hit. Passive: Abilities spawn blobs that try to score and deal a LIGHT hit to enemies. Cast Strike before a blob hits to make it hit in the direction you cast.
  • Energy Meter – When not fully charged, spend Energy to briefly become Elusive, avoiding all incoming damage and knockbacks. Casting an ability ends this effect early. Gains additional effects if cast with 100% Energy.
  • Friend Fling – Launch a blob that hits the first enemy struck and spawns a blob on impact max range.
  • Blob Bounce – Spawn a blob at your feet and hop to a location, becoming Elusive while airborne. Elusive targets are invulnerable and untargetable.
  • Make it Rain(Special) – Target an area and launch a massive blob cluster into the sky. After a delay the cluster splits, raining down blobs for each enemy in the target area, plus one at the center.

By using these skills wisely and on time, you can provide excellent defense for your team.

Atlas

Atlas is a cosmic guardian who has stepped onto the field so that you can control the game and help your team in difficult situations. Here is his list of skills:

  • Strike – Knock the Core in a direction with a light melee hit.
  • Energy Meter – When not fully charged, spend Energy to briefly become elusive, avoiding all incoming damage and knockbacks. Casting an ability ends this effect early. Gains additional effects if cast with 100% Energy.
  • Astral Projection – Launch a decelerating arc barrier that deals a single hit to each enemy it collides with
  • Cosmic Expanse – Construct an expanding ring of light that quickly vanishes. The ring will persist and begin to shrink if it hits an enemy, dealing subsequent hits to enemies who collide with it.
  • Celestial Intervention – Summon a celestial guardian that continuously heals nearby allies. The guardian rescues any ally that would be K.O.’d, transporting them to its location and restoring 25% of their Stagger bar.

In addition to shooting the puck away from the goal, this character can deal significant damage to enemies while on defense, as well as slow them down so that your team has more time to get to the enemy goal.

Luna

Luna can be used as both a goalie and a striker. Her skills will help you in the match, even if your teammates play poorly.

  • W.H.A.M.M.Y. – Fire a rocket that deals a light hit on early impact, After a brief delay, it accelerates and hits much harder.
  • B.O.O.S.T. – Launch in a direction with limited ability to steer, only stopping upon collision with an enemy or terrain.
  • C.R.A.T.E.R. – Drop a bomb at a location, hitting surrounding enemies. Enemies at the center are hit much harder.

Use your second skill to turn invisible, then approach a cluster of enemies and use your ultimate to blow them up.

Asher

Asher is similar to Atlas and can also act as a good defender for your team, check out her abilities below to see what she can do:

  • Strike Barrier – Knock the Core in a direction and rotate any active barrier. Passive: Casting abilities raises or replaces a frontal barrier that blocks enemies and deals light hits, but briefly slows Asher. While used on her team’s side of the arena, Asher will not be slowed
  • Energy Meter – When not fully charged, spend Energy to briefly become elusive, avoiding all incoming damage and knockbacks. Casting an ability ends this effect early. Gains additional effects if cast with 100% Energy.
  • Arc Beam – Ready a burst of energy in an arc. Enemies caught in the center are hit harder.
  • Breakthrough – Charge forward with your shields raised, stopping on the first enemy struck and hitting all nearby opponents.
  • Pathsplitter – Combine both shields and launch them forward. If they hit an enemy, they expand into a slow-moving, destructible barrier that can repeatedly hit enemies. Deals reduced damage after the first hit.

Asher is good at knocking the puck away from the goal, so use it to prevent enemies from getting close to you. Also, use your ultimate to effectively defend your territory and slow down enemies so that your teammates can get forward.
