Pokemon Go Raid Hours & Spotlight Hours December 2023

Pokemon Go is here in December and has everyone talking about the new Timeless Travels season. Not only this, players are also excited for this month’s raid hours & spotlight hours. These take place weekly, when the frequency of a few Pokemon appearing in the game is high.

Spotlight hours and raid hours are only available on hourly basis every week. They will take place all throughout December. Here are all the spotlight hours and raid hours in Pokemon Go for the whole month of December.

What is Pokemon Go Spotlights Hours?

During these Spotlight hours, the featured Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild. While the featured Pokémon spawns more frequently during Spotlight hours, other Pokémon will still appear in the game.                                                                                                                           

They take place every Tuesday between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm local time. What spotlight hours essentially entail is highlighting a different Pokémon every day. Catching these will guarantee excessive rewards and bonuses for the player. The Pokémon featured this month are as follows:

• 5th December – Feebas – 2× Candy for Catching Pokémon

• 12th December – Seel – 2× Candy for Transferring Pokémon

• 19th December – Snorunt – 2× XP for Evolving Pokémon

• 26th December -Vaniellite – 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon

What is Pokemon Go Raid Hours? 

Raid Hour is an hour-long global event in Pokémon Go where one particular Pokémon or a group of Pokémon appears more frequently in Raids. Raid Hours could feature new, rare, Legendary, or Mythical Pokémon as Raid Bosses, sometimes with exclusive moves. During Raid Hours in the game, Raid battles are more frequent and highly likely to occur. It features a specific Pokémon during the raid. 

These are one-hour mini-events that take place on Wednesdays between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm local time. While Raid Hours do not provide direct rewards, partaking in these Raids will definitely equip you with enough XP and skill training that you will be able to gather any reward you want. 

The following Pokemon will be floating around in Pokemon Go during the raid hours in December:

• 6th December – Reshiram 

• 13th December – Zekrom

• 20th December – Kyurem

• 27th December – Regigigas

Keep an eye out for these dates and you can find a lot of these Pokemon roaming around in the wild. Make sure to use these hours to your advantage!
