Qojqva Names the Best Carry Players in Dota 2
Discussions about the top Dota 2 players in the world in different roles continues, and the selections appear to be varied based on viewpoints and the changing of the times. During a recent Twitch broadcast, Team Liquid’s livestreamer Max “qojqva” Bröcker revealed his thoughts on the two finest carry players in Dota 2. qojqva went on to pick Shopify Rebellion’s Artour “Arteezy” Babaev and Nigma Galaxy’s Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi as the top carry players in Dota 2 right now, Miracle-, according to qojqva, is still on top despite not playing competitively right now.
Qojqva says Arteezy and Miracle- are the best Dota 2 carry players
A viewer asked qojqva about the greatest player in the carry role in Dota 2 in the world. He encouraged the audience to guess and even made a joke by taking the names of other popular Twitch livestreamers like Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski and Brian “BSJ” Canavan, but then named Arteezy and Miracle-.
Despite the emergence of new players with a lot of ability in carry roles, qojqva said Miracle- was still ahead.
“The best carry player in the world? There are probably two of them. I think there are two players who are best at carry right now. Who do you think I mean? Two players. It’s Gorgc and BSJ? No, it’s probably Miracle- and Arteezy. Miracle- and Arteezy. I know Miracle does not play the game anymore but why does that even matter? Do you think any of these new clowns are better than Miracle-? Of course not. Miracle- was just letting them have some time to catch up to his skill level.”
Miracle- was put on the Nigma Galaxy’s inactive roster in early December 2022 after the team stated that he would be taking a break from professional Dota 2 due to health considerations. As seen by his recent match history, the player has been absent from ranked games as well.
Meanwhile, Arteezy, along with his former Evil Geniuses teammates, has joined Shopify Rebellion and will be seen competing in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) North America (NA) 2023 Tour 1: Division I.
Both Miracle- and Arteezy had underwhelming seasons last year, and although the former will not be seen playing in the near future, the latter will be eager to get things moving and have some great outcomes with the team he recently joined, Shopify Rebellion.
