Ranked Play in Call of Duty Warzone Explained
With ranked play making a comeback in Call of Duty Warzone, players can now jump into the battlefield with a competitive spirit. Get ready to climb the ranks and earn exclusive rewards in the way. Ranked play also offers an adrenaline-pumping gameplay, keeping the action alive.
However, keep in mind that this is limited to only Fortune’s Keep in the Warzone and will take place in the Resurgence game mode. Many arrangements have been made to improvise the Skill Rating system. Let us dive deep and understand the Ranked Play in Call of Duty Warzone.
Ranked Play in Call of Duty Warzone Explained
The Ranked Play update was released on 7th February 2024. It features seven Skill Divisions, starting from Bronze 1. This is quite similar to the skill divisions in Modern Warfare 3.
Players progress through these divisions by earning something known as Skill Rating (SR), which is based on their performance. Each division has three tiers, offering a challenging experience that promises exclusive rewards. The Skill Rating system has now been revised and aims to better the overall gaming experience.
Understanding Skill Rating
In Warzone Resurgence Ranked, you earn SR by getting eliminations, assists, and good placements. But remember, joining a match costs SR, so joining any session is a big decision.
Changes have been made to SR rewards to match the lower squad count and faster Resurgence playstyle. Here’s what you can expect:
-
Teams Remaining: 14: SR = 0
-
Teams Remaining: 10: SR = 15
-
Teams Remaining: 8: SR = 30
-
Teams Remaining: 6: SR = 45
-
Teams Remaining: 5: SR = 60
-
Teams Remaining: 4: SR = 80
-
Teams Remaining: 3: SR = 100
-
Teams Remaining: 2: SR = 125
-
Teams Remaining: 1: SR = 150
The Skill Rating (SR) you get for Kills and Assists has been adjusted because there are fewer teams left in the game.
-
Teams Remaining: 9+: SR Per Kill/Assist = 5. SR Per Non-Assisted Kill = 2
-
Teams Remaining: 8: SR Per Kill/Assist = 7. SR Per Non-Assisted Kill = 3
-
Teams Remaining: 3: SR Per Kill/Assist = 15. SR Per Non-Assisted Kill = 7
Strategies for Success
To rise triumphant in Ranked Play, players must use smart tactics. This includes navigating the play area strategically, engaging with opponents wisely, and completing seasonal SR challenges for extra rewards.
