Rise of the Ronin Countdown: Release Date and Time

Set in 19th-century war-torn Japan, Rise of the Ronin is a combat-focused open-world action roleplaying game created by Team Ninja. This is an epic Samurai action-adventure game, where players assume the role of an unknown warrior, carrying the fate of Japan in his hands.

Given that this is an open-world action RPG, the outcome of your game would depend on your actions and the choices you make. Rise of the Ronin has easy-to-understand combat that is fun for everyone. You can use different weapons to fight up close or shoot from far away with old-fashioned guns.

Rise of the Ronin Countdown: Release Date and Time

The release date for Rise of the Ronin has been confirmed by both Sony and Team Ninja. The game is set to be launched globally on Friday, 22nd March 2024. This is two days after the Spring equinox, which is called Shunbun no Hi in Japan. It’s also the time when cherry blossoms are in full bloom, as shown briefly in the trailers.

The game mostly takes place in autumn and winter, which might show Japan changing after being isolated.

While we have a release date for the game, we do not know the time at which the game will be released. However, it is possible that it will be confirmed by the devs in the coming days.

Trailer

Team Ninja has also shared a trailer for the game that features gameplay glimpses.

This trailer shows us a bit of what the story will be like and the main themes. It also showcases some big bosses like a really tall Sumo wrestler in a dohyō. There is also a cool technology that shows snow changing.

The trailer also shows things that the Western countries started bringing in, like buildings and guns. It tells us a lot about how fast things were changing at that time, and why some people weren’t happy about it.
