SabeRLight- Ready To Take On TORONTOTOKYO, Reacts to Recent Beef

During his recent podcast episode titled “Who’s got BEEF? ft. SabeRLight- ALL CHAT Ep. 3,” host and English Dota 2 caster Austin “Cap” Wals was joined by Gaimin Gladiators’ Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, Team Liquid’s Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi and Shopify Rebellion’s Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek. Whilst conversing, SabeRLight addressed an earlier incident during a pub game between himself and BetBoom Team’s Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek.

SabeRLight noted that TORONTOTOKYO said he would bash SabeRLight’s head in when they meet during the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai LAN tournament to which SabeRLight said, “We’ll see about that.

SabeRLight Is Not Afraid of TORONOTOKYO

We’ll see about that Mr. Tokyo,” said SaberRLight during the third episode of Cap’s podcast series “ALL CHAT.

SabeRLight explained that a few weeks ago, a clip of a pub game surfaced in which he was playing along with TORONTOTOKYO who was playing Winter Wyvern.

As SabeRLight put it, “His (TORONOTOTOKYO) Wvyern was just straight up trash and I was like trying to get him to play the game and he didn’t like it and said something like, ‘When I see this guy on LAN, I’ll bash his face in’ or something like that.

Quinn humorously added, “I feel like out of all the people he could bash the face in, it’s not you, you’re like 7 ’12. You’re gonna like squish him with your pinky.” However, SabeRLight also confessed, “I never fought anyone in real life so maybe it’s going to be like a fair battle.

For reference, in this much-discussed pub match, TORONTOTOKYO was playing Winter Wyvern and SabeRLight was playing Primal Beast. After dying to a gank on top lane, SabeRLight used voice chat to exclaim, “WINTER WYVERN, WINTER WYVERN, PLEASE CLIC…” after which TORONTOTOKYO muted him and said, “What the hell is wrong with this guy? I’ll approach that guy at LAN and break his f***ing face, no kidding.

TORONTOTOKYO is notorious for his trash-talking. In a recent pub game, he was seen trash-talking SabeRLight- ‘s teammate Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer. During the start of the laning phase, TORONTOTOKYO who was playing Ember Spirit took to all chat and said “Rank 200 mid, 2024.” However, Yopaj did not respond to the trash-talking and instead decimated TORONTOTOKYO’s Ember Spirit in the mid-lane with Magnus. Yopaj- eventually won the game at 19 minutes with a KDA of 10/1/6 while TORONTOTOKYO’s Ember Spirit sat at a KDA of 0/7/1.
