Snax Talks About His Future Goals in CS:GO “Still Hungry to Play in Tier One”

The Polish CS:GO legend Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski is showing a glimpse of his former self in the ongoing IEM Dallas 2022, replacing Lotan “Spinx” Giladi who missed out on the tournament due to visa issues.

With each passing game, Snax seems to be improving himself in Dallas. In the upper bracket finals against FaZe Clan he achieved an overall HLTV rating of 1.27 along with a +16 K/D to lead the charge for ENCE.

Following this thunderous performance that hyped up the viewers big time, Snax in a post-game interview with James Banks spoke about his future goals in CS:GO and how he took this opportunity very seriously to showcase that “I’m still hungry to play in tier one. I think I showed a little bit of myself today.”

The last time Snax was seen competing with a top-tier CS:GO team was more than two years ago, when he was part of the Russian esports organization Virtus.pro back in December 2019.

This was followed by a lull period where he continued to compete in the tier-two circuit with teams like Illuminar Gaming, Anonymo Esports, and most recently MONKEsports. Snax kept working hard in a bid to return to the big scene, finally getting a chance to compete with ENCE at the IEM Dallas 2022, and he seems to be utilizing this opportunity really well thus far.

It was the recent game against FaZe Clan that really brought him into the spotlight, getting him to talk about his future goals in CS:GO, “I’m taking it [IEM Dallas 2022] very seriously. Like I said on Twitter, I’m looking for a team, I’m grinding a lot, doing stuff a lot, and I’m still hungry to play in tier one. I think I showed a little bit of myself today.”

The entire Polish scene seems to be proud of his achievement and are positively backing Snax up to push harder and achieve more. Despite the absence of its strongest player, Spinx, ENCE has continued to showcase its dominance by directly securing a slot in the semifinals.

This has been primarily possible due to Snax being able to shoulder all of Spinx’s responsibilities really well, whilst also appreciating the efforts put in by Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer and the overall team environment, “I feel like in home, I feel I can do jokes, I don’t feel like I need to hold the gap, I can do more stuff.”

ENCE will be next seen in action on 4^th June at 21:30 IST, taking on the winners of the first quarterfinal taking place between FURIA Esports and G2 Esports later today at 23:30 IST.
