The Valorant Challengers League 2023: Vietnam Split 2 (VCL 2023: VIE Split 2) is currently taking place with some of the best teams and players from the region taking on each other.

It features a total prize pool of 860,000,000₫ Vietnamese Dong (VND) which roughly translates to about $36,644 USD. This amount will be split among all the participants based on their overall standings. In addition to this, the winner will also get a chance to represent Vietnam at the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023: Ascension Pacific.

Fancy United Esports dominated the VCL 2023: Vietnam Split 1 which had taken place earlier this year, not dropping a single match in the entire tournament to walk away as the undefeated champions.

The team has carried forward this momentum in VCL 2023: Vietnam Split 2 but has failed to grab onto the top spot during the regular season, dethroned by Tìm Tài Trợ who had finished third in the previous split.

VCL 2023: Vietnam Split 2 is scheduled to take place from 4^th April to 4^th June. The league has been split into two parts, Group Stage and Playoffs.

Format

Regular Season

1. All competing teams will take on each other once following a simple round-robin format.

2. Every match of the regular season will follow a best-of-three series.

3. The top four teams at the end of the regular season will proceed to the playoffs.

4. The remaining four teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

Playoffs

1. The four qualified teams will take on each other in a double-elimination bracket.

2. All matches will follow a best-of-three series except for the grand final which will feature a best-of-five match.

3. The winner will qualify for the VCT 2023: Pacific Ascension where it will go on to represent Vietnam.

The total prizepool of 860,000,000₫ Vietnamese Dong (VND) which roughly translates to about $36,644 USD will be split between all eight competing teams. On top of this, the winning team will get a chance to represent Vietnam at the VCT 2023: Pacific Ascension.
