VCT 2022 EMEA Last Chance Qualifier: Teams, Schedule, Results & More

The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2022 Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) is all set to kick off on 7th August. Eight teams from the EMEA region will fight against each other in this tournament to decide who represents the region at the Valorant Champions in Istanbul, Turkey. Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix have already booked their slots in the end-of-the-year tournament and the winner of the VCT 2022 EMEA Last Chance Qualifier will soon be joining them. The teams participating in the VCT 2022 EMEA Last Chance Qualifier were ranked third through tenth in the regional VCT this year.

This LCQ marks the last leg of the Valorant Champions Tour, which will conclude with Valorant Champions in Istanbul, Turkey in September. The VCT 2022 EMEA LCQ is all set to kick off on 7th August and the grand final of this tournament is scheduled on 14th August.

The eight teams in the VCT 2022 EMEA LCQ are as follows:

  • G2 Esports (G2)

  • Guild Esports (GLD)

  • Team Liquid (TL)

  • M3 Champions (M3C)

  • Acend (ACE)

  • BBL Esports (BBL)

  • Natus Vincere (NaVi)

  • OG LDN UTD (OGLU)

Format

  • The highest seeds from the EMEA VCT will play the lowest in the opening rounds.

  • Double-elimination bracket.

  • All matches except the grand final are best-of-three (BO3).

  • The grand final is a best-of-five (BO5).

  • The winning team will make it to Valorant Champions 2022.

The VCT EMEA LCQ is going to be real spicy with clashed between top teams who have previously tasted great success, like M3 Champions and Acend. Other teams including Team Liquid, G2 Esports, and Guild Esports have also been consistent in the Valorant competitive space. This tournament will be an interesting one to watch closely and shall set the tone for Valorant Champions next month.
