“We’re beating the sh*t out of them in scrims,” says Yuragi on Old G

With their recent 2-0 victory against Entity, OG secures their position in Division I for the next DPC season as well as a potential slot at the Berlin. With the team staying in Division I, there may be some interesting matchups for the upcoming DPC season, with one, in particular, being Old G. Two players from the iconic two-time TI winning OG roster, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen and Sébastien “Ceb” Debs play for Old G, making their matchup against OG an exciting one. After its victory over Entity, the carry player of OG, Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev is present for the post-match interview and shares some interesting thoughts about Old G.

Yuragi States OG Have Been Dominating Old G in Scrims

In the winner post-match interview, Yuragi seems to have a large amount of confidence in their ability to win in a potential matchup in Division I against Old G in the next DPC season. “We’re beating the shit out of them in scrims,” says Yuragi.

Fresh off their victory against Entity, continuing to compete at Division I, and having a chance to secure a slot for the Berlin Major 2023, OG seem to have the momentum and confidence to win their matchup against Ooredoo Thunders.

Yuragi also shares his thoughts on OG’s performance in Weeks 1, 2, and 3 of the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 2: Division I. “Maybe the first few games we played, the bootcamp turned out to be not so great. We’re working on some stuff, but the main stuff we started working on is the early game structure and see what happens after the bootcamp, so it’s the best time to get there,” he said.

“This season I was just jetlagged for like a week after coming back from Lima and then I had to fly to bootcamp so it was some rough times. Problems with schedule, but everyone is trying to be disciplined now,” Yuragi added to his initial response.

Moving forward, OG will be facing  Ooredoo Thunders in a tiebreaker for an invite to the Berlin Major 2023. OG previously won its matchup 2-0 against Ooredoo Thunders in two close affairs. The series will promise to be exciting as each team is going to be placing all their chips on the table.
