What Is Squad Rage and How Can You Unlock It in COD: Warzone Season 3?

Call of Duty: Warzone is all set to receive its Season 3 update, bringing in tons of new additions such as weapons, operators, perks, contracts, public events, and the return of the fan-favorite Rebirth Island. Alongside the return of this map, the devs have also added a new field upgrade called “Squad Rage”, which offers significant buffs that can be a game-changer, especially when dealing with the last few gas storm circles in the battle royale. Without further ado, here’s how you can access this new field upgrade in Warzone Season 3.

How Does Squad Rage Work in COD: Warzone Season 3?

Squad Rage is essentially an enhanced version of the existing ‘Battle Rage’ field upgrade. Once it is activated both the user and their teammates within the given radius will be granted significant buffs to movement, health, and status effects within the game.

Squad Rage’s radius

If you and your team members are within the range of the circle, Squad Rage will vaporize any gas surrounding all of you, granting you immunity when dealing with the last few gas zones as the storm closes in. You will also be able to use your Tactical Sprint for as long as the Squad Rage is active, allowing you to effectively sprint away from enemy fire.

The main reason for using Squad Rage would be the health increase it provides, allowing players to resist gunshots and explosives thrown by opponents. You will also regenerate your health over time, which is certainly an added bonus. If you and your teammates are well-coordinated, this field upgrade can turn the tide of the battle and ensure you a triumphant victory against enemies.

How to Obtain the Squad Rage Field Upgrade in COD: Warzone Season 3?

The Squad Rage field upgrade can either be found directly on the battlefield or can be purchased from one of the many Buy Stations spread across Rebirth Island. However, you need to know that this equipment can only be used during matches set in the Resurgence Map and cannot be used elsewhere. While Ravensoft might possibly bring it to the bigger maps of COD: Warzone, it seems like this field upgrade will be exclusive to the island, at least for Season 3.
