When Is The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Dark Beluga Release Date? Here’s What We Know
Early images of a new adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 colourway known as the “Dark Beluga”, or “Beluga 3.0”, have emerged online, leaving many fans wondering if a release date has been revealed.
As the name suggests, these sneakers are simply a darker adaptation of the original “Beluga” v2s launched in 2016, which were subsequently remastered a year later for the lighter grey “Beluga 2.0” release.
With the third rendition now revealed, 2022 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Yeezy fans, particularly with the on the horizon as well.
That said, we’re focusing solely on the “Dark Beluga” release in this article. So, without further delay, here’s everything we know about the sneakers so far…
When Is The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Dark Beluga Release Date?
Not a great deal is known about the release of the “Dark Beluga” v2s at this moment in time as the brand is yet to reveal any specific details.
However, the sneakers are currently rumoured to arrive at some point in this fall according to reports.
Interestingly, the first two “Beluga” colourways dropped on the 24 September and 25 November respectively. Therefore, we wouldn’t be surprised if the 3.0s debuted around a similar time in 2022.
This is purely speculation on our behalf though, so make sure you check back in with us as we’ll be keeping this article updated with all the latest announcements right here.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Dark Beluga Design
As mentioned, the “Beluga 3.0” v2s feature a much darker colour palette than the first two “Beluga” releases.
In fact, we feel the deeper grey tone featured across the Primeknit uppers is more akin to the reflective “Beluga” Yeezy’s released in 2021 than the first two iterations.
You do, however, still get the usual Solar Red stripes down the lateral sides with the now iconic ‘SPLY-350’ branding.
Additional details include the matching sock liners and laces intertwined with the uppers rather than being placed across separate shoe tongues.
Yeezy’s typical 350 v2 design is then, once again, rounded off with full-length Boost midsoles encased in dark grey, translucent rubber.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Dark Beluga Price
The “Dark Beluga” v2s are currently expected to cost $230 in adult sizes.
This is slightly more than the first two “Beluga” colourways which retailed for $220.
However, considering it’s been a few years since those sneakers debuted, this $10 price rise will most likely be accurate upon their arrival.
Where To Buy The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Dark Beluga
We believe one of the first places you’ll see a listing for these 350 v2s is at adidas store under the Yeezy subsection.
We’d also recommend checking out adidas Confirmed and Yeezy Supply apps, and signing up for their push notifications so you’re completely prepared for their upcoming arrival.
If your initial attempt at purchasing a pair through retail is unsuccessful though, then we’d recommend StockX as an alternative place to pick up your pair.
