Boombl4 Drops Details About Joining G2 Esports CS:GO Team, Carlos Responds
Former NAVI captain, Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov, has confirmed that he was apparently in talks with G2 Esports to join its CS:GO team. The 23-year-old spoke about this on a popular Russian rapper’s livestream on 2nd August.
He went on to reveal that though the two parties were allegedly in talks with each other initially, it all fell through in the early stages itself as they could not agree on a number of terms and conditions.
Boombl4 went on to claim that he even spoke with Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez – CEO of G2 Esports, but faced multiple challenges like relocation conditions, taxes, and even language barrier.
Following these claims, ocelote earlier today came forward with a public response directed at the Russian player, telling him to get whatever he was saying in order.
Boombl4 claims his alleged move to G2 Esports has fallen through, receives a response from Carlos
During a recent livestream with a Russian rapper, Boombl4 went on to make huge claims about how he was in talks with G2 but the deal fell through in the early stages due to multiple conditions that the two parties could not agree upon.
The first thing that Boombl4 could not agree upon was relocating to another country. He claimed that G2 offered him three countries to choose from between Germany, Serbia, and Andorra.
Apparently, he spoke to another G2 player about his terms, who had been offered an option between the three countries mentioned above. So Boombl4 guessed that he would also be presented with the same options in case he joined the team.
The experienced shotcaller went on to reason as to why he does not want to move from Russia at this point in time, “I’d like to stay in Russia for now because it’s extremely hard to relocate in terms of morale, to live in Europe without friends, family, and anyone close. It’s not about my love for some country or something, I just don’t really want to leave my circle. Without that, my morale will be burning out really fast, and won’t be able to recover that energy anywhere.”
Moving on, communication was another thing that Boombl4 had an issue with because for him to converse in English to a level suitable of G2’s understanding was quite a challenge.
“You need time to fit into the team and implement your ideas, but G2 will want results quickly,” added Boombl4.
Having explained his situation with G2 Esports in proper detail, Boombl4 went on to reveal that he got offers from a few other teams as well, but he is thinking about creating his own CS:GO team for which he has prepared a list of potential players, who he did not name.
Keeping true to his plans of making rap music, Boombl4 also composed a beat on stream, which was the main reason behind him visiting the Russian rapper.
