Payday 3 Heisters: Every Playable Character Confirmed So Far

The highly anticipated third iteration of the Payday franchise is almost ready to launch. While fans await the arrival of the game, there is much eagerness surrounding the heisters that will feature here. The game is expected to revert to the roots of the first iteration, meaning many of the diverse heisters from Payday 2 may not make the cut for the new version. 

There are six playable characters who have been confirmed for their presence in the new iteration. Apart from this, Payday 3 will also bring back the four-person crew whilst introducing two new heisters that will join players for an adventure as they grind through Payday 3. 

Confirmed Playable Characters for Payday 3

The confirmed roster for Payday 3 has been part of this journey since the inception of the franchise as Payday: The Heist. The four known and confirmed playables are as follows:

• Dallas

• Chains

• Wolf

• Hoxton

The remaining two, according to the Payday 3 FAQ, will be revealed in time. It has also been revealed that the voices of Simone Kerr, Pete Gold and Damion Porter will be returning as the voices of Dallas, Hoxton and Chains. Replacing Ulf Anderson as the voice of Wolf is Nicklas Beglund. 

Payday has managed to remain mum over the narrative that this iteration will follow. However, what we do know is that this roster will be uniting in typical Payday fashion in the bustling streets of the Big Apple. 

Many fans believe that the number of confirmed playable characters is likely to increase as the game progresses. This speculation seems plausible since Payday 2 witnessed the same trajectory due to later DLC episodes and updates in content. While this seems like a wild reach, it cannot be denied that the previous iterations of the game helped fans understand the trajectory that Payday 3 might take. 

Payday 3: Which Platforms is it releasing on?

Payday 3 is set to launch on 21st September 2023, and players can access the game on various platforms, like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. With the use of the Unreal Engine, Payday 3 will remain consistent with the console version, promising an equivalent gaming experience across all platforms.
