Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) 2022 Playoffs: Schedule, Results, & More

The Skyesports Champions Series (SCS), hosted by Skyesports and supported by Riot Games is a part of the current VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) 2022 Stage 2. This tournament will serve as the gateway to the VCT for South Asian teams and the top two teams from the event will qualify for Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Asia Pacific [APAC] Challengers. SCS 2022’s prize pool is set at $30,000 USD and the final stage of the event is scheduled to be hosted as a LAN event in Chennai, India.

A total of 12 Valorant teams competed in the Group Stage of the tournament and were split into two groups of six teams. The Group Stage took place between 19th and 24th May in a round-robin format where each match was a best-of-three (BO3) series.

Each team competing in the group stage played a total of five matches and the top three teams from each group have been decided.

A guide to Skyesports Champions Series Grand Final Playoffs

Six teams have made it to the Skyesports Champions Series Grand Final Playoffs stage where they will be going up against each other in a double-elimination bracket. This stage of the tournament is scheduled to take place between 31st May and 4th June with the Grand Final on 5th June in Chennai, India. The teams have all arrived in the coastal city of Chennai and are gearing up for the grand LAN tournament.

Format (31st May to 5th June)

  • Six teams will participate

  • Playoffs stage is a double-elimination bracket

  • Playoffs will have an upper bracket and lower bracket

  • All matches are best-of-three and the Grand Finals will be a best-of-five series.

  • Enigma Gaming and Orangutan receive byes to Round 2 for topping their respective groups in Phase 2.

Prize Pool

The total prize pool of $30,000 USD (INR 23,29,575) will be divided between the top four teams and will also be split for individual titles like the Most Valuable Player (MVP), Emerging Player, and Best IGL (In-Game Leader) of the tournament.

The first and second place teams will receive $15K USD and $7.5K USD, respectively, and will make it to VCT 2022: APAC Stage 2 Challengers.
