Team XSpark: Roster, Achievements, All You Need to Know

There are multiple esports organizations in India who have come forth to establish themselves in the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports scene. Not many have been successful but some of them have been able to make a mark within a short period of time. Team XSpark is one such organization in India who has successfully fielded a BGMI roster across tournaments and has achieved success through it. The organization also fielded a PUBG Mobile New State roster in 2023. 

Team XSpark has put forth good performances in recent major BGMI events because of which it has secured the 7th spot in the AFK Gaming BGMI Team Rankings.

Tanmay “Sc0utOP” Singh is the founder and current owner of Team XSpark. Sc0utOP is a one of the most popular figures in the Indian gaming community, particularly amongst BGMI fans for his achievements and influence in PUBG Mobile (before it was banned in the country) and subsequent streams.

Who is Team XSpark?

Team XSpark entered the esports scene in India with the introduction of its BGMI roster in 2019. The team has had several well known esports athletes like Mohammed “Owais” Owais Lakhani, Ammar “Destro” Khan, Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh, and Aditya “Aditya” Mathe represent them across various events. Tanmay “Scoutop” Singh, who is one of the biggest names in the esports as well as content creation industry is the Owner of Team XSpark and has also represented the organization.

Mavi, who was the team’s In Game Leader (IGL), recently parted ways with the team to join Global Esports. Team XSpark signed Tushar “DreamS” Jain to replace him and has put forth consistent performances since then. The organization went through some changes in recent times where Aditya, one of the core players of the team, parted ways before the start of Skyesports Championship 5.0 to join Godlike Esports. The team has also loaned Tushar “Gamlaboy” Das for the RedBull Mobile Esports Open (MEO) Season 6 2023 event and also added Harsh “Spraygod” Malik for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 event to its roster.

Since the return of BGMI in May, Team XSparks best performance came in the recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 event. The team was eliminated from BGIS 2023 The Grind event, which was the qualification event for the BGIS 2023 main event but it made an incredible comeback by qualifying through the open qualifiers and securing third place in the event’s LAN Grand Finals.

Recently, Scout had also revealed that Team XSpark will be hiring an international coach for its BGMI team. The coach is said to be from one of the teams playing the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 event. 

Although Team X Spark has not been able to put forth consistent performances at times, it has put forth good performances in some of the major BGMI events due to which it has grabbed the 7th place in the AFK Gaming BGMI Team Rankings.
